Collectively working together to support our community with dignity and compassion.
Who We Are
The Kharee Shareef Death Committee is a structured, community-led organization dedicated to supporting families during times of loss. Based on a contributory membership model, our mission is to ease the emotional and financial burden associated with funeral arrangements. The committee was established in Hong Kong in 1979 and officially registered there in 2025.
Our Mission
Our aim is to reduce the financial burden on family members by providing a collective membership scheme. Together, members contribute annually to ensure timely funeral and burial arrangements whether in Hong Kong or abroad.
Our Plan Includes:
Annual contributory membership
Financial support for funeral arrangements
Assistance even if death occurs outside Hong Kong
Support for members, their spouses, and children under 18
Burial coordination without burdening families
Compassionate communication with organizations and families
Our Aims & Objectives
To spare relatives from the stress of arranging a funeral during grief
To ensure no family faces financial strain during burial
To support fathers, mothers, and children under 18
To provide complete liaison with concerned bodies
To coordinate all logistics and legal formalities related to death
Our Motto
“Collectively work together to eliminate the burden of the Pakistani community in Hong Kong.”
